| Welcome This is the home page for the Sherwood Fire Department. We are a fully paid fire department protecting the City of Sherwood, Arkansas. We operate out of three stations with an on duty staffing of 12 personnel around the clock. Sherwood Fire Department is an ISO Class 2 Department. Our personnel are a combination of full time and part time firefighters. In 2005 the Sherwood and Sylvan Hills Fire Departments merged. While the departments started out protecting separate areas, as Sherwood grew in size, the two fire districts both ended up in the Sherwood City Limits. The merger in 2005 resulted in all of Sherwood being protected by one department. |
| As Chief of the Sherwood Fire Department I get to work with a very dedicated group of individuals who are exceptional at what they do. Having been here for two years I have been able to evaluate the personnel as they have responded and trained on a daily basis. I have not witnessed another department with the commitment to excellence that I see from the personnel here in Sherwood.
